Heather McLarty
Clydebank High School is delighted to announce that after a rigorous application and interview process Heather McLarty, who completed her final year at school in June this year, has been awarded the Titan Engineering Trust Bursary to allow her to embark on a degree in Aero Mechanical Engineering at Strathclyde University.

Heather commented: "I am extremely delighted to have been successful in being awarded this bursary. It was so nerve-wracking sitting in that waiting room to be interviewed – but now I know that it was all worth the while. The bursary has benefited me greatly as I have commenced my studying at Strathclyde: from travel expenses, books, stationary, and any other expenses. It is assuring to know that I will be financially stable throughout my time at university: I will not have to sacrifice my studying with extra shifts at work. I am so thankful for being offered such a precious opportunity!"

Described by her teachers as a “bundle of fun” , “delightful and hard working”, a “real character and a super kid” Heather was an outstanding student who excelled in all of her studies.

Well done to Heather and good luck.
